Welcome to Mama’s Kitchen Adventures
Hello everyone,
Welcome to this new photo blog.
Mama Eila's K!tchen Adventures
I finally got the time to squeeze in my crazy schedule this long overdue photo blog for the family’s quest to learn how to cook. Actually, we are yet waiting for someone in the family who will emerge as someone who have inherited Mom’s undeniable cooking skills. Oh yes, We miss her terribly.
So we offer this blog to our ever dearest mom, who happened to be in God’s loving arms already. We thank you Nanay for taking care of us, for the ever tasty and satisfying food you always cook and for the fun you always share with us. We miss you. You are our best example. I promise to be the best mom just like you.
Advance happy birthday too, we love you. :)
Blueberry day
I spent the whole afternoon figuring out what to do with the can of blueberries my sister bought last month. This has been a pending request for months already. I only decided to try it yesterday because I was inspired on this new blog for Nanay. This is for her birthday.
I came up with two recipes. The cheesecake choco chip cups with blueberry on top was Sharla’s request and the mini blueberry muffin is for Sofie. Ichirou, my eldest son enjoyed the cheesecake because he loves cheese.
Happy Birthday Nay. We know you are watching over us from heaven. We love you and misses you so much.
Sundays are family day for me and the boys. We usually do some creative stuffs or other fun filled activities at home or wherever we feel like going for the day. But most of the time we are just home and I cook or bake whatever they ask me to. Sometimes I surprise them with my magic recipes. :)
This sunday Ichiro requested for a baked mac while Jiro as usual asked for Spaghetti. Since they are both pasta, I only made one kind of sauce. But of course, baked mac has to be baked with lots of cheese.
I think they both enjoyed it. :)
Blueberry little muffins
This was a request by my lovely sisters but of course, the boys got to taste it first:) It was an instant hit the moment we smelled it getting baked inside the oven.
